Momma Post: This past weekend we took the girls to Oregon Coast Aquarium where the jelly fish, touching tide pool and spider crabs were a big hit. Driving to Newport was a feat with Willa crying and another bout of motion sickness for Ruby, which she narrated by the following monologue, "Oh man. Oh man. Sick. Pants dirty. Pants off." We were all relieved to reach to our destination in Newport.
Following the aquarium, we drove north to Lincoln City to settle down for the night at our friends' beach house. We took the girls to Mo's for dinner where Ruby scarfed down several packets of Saltines and applesauce for good measure. That evening Ruby slept in the bottom half of a bunk bed and had successful night's sleep. The next day I introduced the family to Otis Cafe...an incredible place full of nostalgia and homemade bread and pie.
