Momma Post: Last weekend was beautiful for early June. Matt recently had purchased the inflatable pool and was anxious for the first weekend of good weather. It was pretty amusing watching and participating in the joint sweat equity of blowing up the pool (thankfully we had a pump).
Ruby with great interest watched the pool preparation. Testing the water with our toes, both she and I had to acclimate to the hose water, but before long it was actually pretty comfortable. If I wasn't pregnant, I would have loved a Pina Colada. Ruby thought the hose was great for spraying herself and her parents nearby. Less than 15 minutes, her lips were turning blue and shivering was visible. Regardless, she put up quite the fuss when removing her from the blue lagoon and plopped her into the warm bath upstairs.
