Daddy Post: Little Ruby has been exercising her autonomy lately by feeding Jack her food out of the dog bowl while intermittently slipping a few kibbles for herself. Jack also seems to agree that her food tastes better this way. She has also developed a new affinity for clementines minus the skins as seen in the picture posted here. Afterwards, she likes to call up her peeps and let them know.
Her new hand signs are "banana" (peeling a finger) and "baby" (rocking arms back and forth). She's also pronouncing "cat" and "dog" more succinctly.
Congratulations to John and Wajma for their engagement. Ruby (& Doyle) request some offspring sooner than later. No pressure.

Sorry, no halfghans are on the way yet but thanks for the congrats. Pictures of our engagement last weekend are here.
Grandma even pointed out that there was a lunar eclipse the night after, which explains why the moon looks reddish on page 3...
We can't wait to see Ruby again... and make sure that she puts us in her 'fave five'.

She is too cute - am counting the days until Ruby can feed Jake & Charlie too! What wonderful pictures! Can hardly wait until we're all together!
Love you,
Grandma Joan
