Momma Post: Ruby enjoyed her first parade this weekend. Although we promised her that she could participate next year, along with the other kids on decorated bikes and tutu wearing dogs, instead of watching from the curb. Dad and Janet joined us for the remainder of Fremont Fest, which included live music, a classic car show, a sidewalk sale and horsedrawn carriages. For the most part, the three of us stayed close to home this weekend. Ruby continues to crawl and discover new things about her home, like shoes in the closet and books on lower bookshelves. She also has been stalking Jack and that by yanking the dog's tail, it will cause the old girl to growl and then walk off in a huff. Ruby's beginning to pull herself up to a standing position on furniture, mom/dad, and the bathtub to watch the running water in much anticipation. She also has become quite the Night Owl and is prefering a bedtime of 10:00pm (she's still up crawling on her dad as I write this), rather than the 8:00pm time of her parent's choosing. Thank goodness she is sleeping through the night.
